A Poem for The Premature December - Come With Your Guillotine.

Come with your guillotine.
The queen is ready.
Come with your guillotine.
The purple is ready.
Come with your guillotine.
Both are ready for the goodbye.
Come with your guillotine.
None of them will be mine.

Poem for a Black October - The prisoner is the night.

Nobody knows the night inside out
than the veteran of martyr:
One step forward, two steps back.
16 years to see an elephant,
or to read the thinking of
the blind blind men.

In a blacked-out campus,
young eyes looked up to the moonlit window.
Nobody knows the light inside out
than these angry eyes:
The accused is innocent.
The prisoner is the night.

Poem for June - Abandon Ship

Abandon ship
Abandon shame
Abandon silence

Confess not
for listening is
not seeing is
not believing is
not doing is
not judging is
not grieving is
not living

Abandon ship
Cut knot
Drown fear
And resurface
